Membros dos BLACK SABBATH, SAXON, DEF LEPPARD, STRYPER e THE OFFSPRING estão entre os muitos músicos que reagiram nas redes sociais à morte da Rainha Isabel II, a monarca que mais tempo reinou na história do Reino Unido e que faleceu ontem, dia 8 de Setembro, aos 96 anos de idade. “A Rainha morreu pacificamente em Balmoral esta tarde“, confirmou o Palácio de Buckingham numa declaração. “O Rei e a Rainha Consorte vão permanecer em Balmoral esta noite e regressarão a Londres amanhã“. Sua Majestade o Rei Carlos IV, divulgou também uma breve declaração, na qual reflectiu sobre a morte da sua mãe. “A morte da minha querida mãe, Sua Majestade a Rainha, é um momento de grande tristeza para mim e para todos os membros da minha família“, disse o Rei. “Lamentamos profundamente o falecimento de uma querida Soberana e de uma Mãe muito amada. Sei que a sua perda será profundamente sentida em todo o país, nos Reinos e na Comunidade, e por inúmeras pessoas em todo o mundo.” Muitos músicos partilharam sentimentos semelhantes. Ozzy Osbourne, vocalista dos BLACK SABBATH e um dos mais carismáticos cantores britânicos das últimas décadas, escreveu: “Lamento com o meu país a morte da nossa maior rainha.
